The Phoenix Project – Part 1

When a Home Becomes a Chapter You Didn’t Plan to Write

Sometimes, life hands you a project you didn’t ask for.

This property, which we’ve come to call The Phoenix Project, is more than just a house that needs work—it’s a reflection of a story we’ve seen many times. A loved one can no longer care for their home, and suddenly a family member is left sorting through not only years of belongings, but also the emotions and decisions that come with it.

There are broken-down cars in the yard. The brush has grown wild. The garage is filled with forgotten things collected over a lifetime. It’s overwhelming—and yet, so familiar to many.

We’re sharing this story not just to show the before-and-after of a property transformation, but to be a resource for families walking through the same journey. If you’ve recently inherited a home or are caring for someone who can no longer manage their property, you are not alone.

Our goal is to document this process with honesty, respect, and practical guidance. From how to sort through belongings, to deciding whether to sell, renovate, or rent—we’ll walk through it all, step by step.

This is the start of something new—not just for the home, but for the story it tells.

Welcome to The Phoenix Project.
