Phase one of The Phoenix Project is officially behind us. The junk is gone. The house, once overwhelmed with debris, now has room to breathe. It felt like a major victory—and it was.
But with every layer we uncover, there’s another chapter to sort through.
Phase two is here: clearing out the vehicles. What looked like a straightforward task turned out to have a few unexpected twists. We thought we had all the car titles, but discovered that wasn’t the case. So now we’re navigating the process of filing affidavits for lost titles—one more piece of the puzzle when stepping into a property that’s been long unmanaged.
And that’s the reality of these kinds of projects. They rarely move in straight lines.
Whether it’s paperwork you didn’t know you needed, decisions you weren’t ready to make, or simply supporting an elderly client with the emotional weight of letting go—it’s all part of the process. And we’re sharing each phase not just to document the transformation, but to provide a roadmap for anyone else navigating this unexpected journey.
Once the vehicles are gone, we’ll move into our final phase: restoring the landscape. We can already imagine the potential—kids playing in the yard, flowers blooming again, a home full of life. But first, we take the next right step.
Thanks for following along. We’ll keep showing the real, the raw, and the redeemable parts of this project—because chances are, you or someone you love, may need to walk through something like this too.
